The seminar will enable the participants to identify the nature, signs and sources of anxiety and the course leaders will teach and train the participants effective, evidence-based interventions and management strategies, based on cognitive-behavioural principles.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Anxiety disorders are the most common mental illness in USA, affecting 40 million adults (18% of U.S. population, NIMH). She is registered with the Health Professions Council UK. She has worked both in the UK National Health Service and in private practice for over 20 years and she provides a wide array of psychological services to adults, adolescents and children, as well as couples and families. Within her therapeutic work, Dr Giannoulis primarily adopts an eclectic model with a strong cognitive-behavioural basis. She has gained a B.A. (Hons.) in Psychology, a M.Sc. in Clinical Psychology from the University of Surrey and a Ph.D. in Psychology from the University of London. From 1996 until 2001, she was the Psychology Section Head of the Social Communications and Neurodevelopmental Disorders Clinic at Guy\u2019s Hospital, London. From 2001 till 2008, Dr Giannoulis was a Consultant Clinical Psychologist at the Michael Rutter Centre for Children &amp; Families, Maudsley Hospital, London. She currently has clinical practices in Athens and London.<\/p>\n<p>[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column_inner][vc_column_inner width=&#8221;1\/2&#8243;][vc_column_text]<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Dr Markos Perrakis<\/strong> is a Chartered Psychologist, holds a Ph.D. in Organizational Psychology, M.A. in clinical Psychology, trained in Systemic Appreciative Counselling, in Constellations for personal and professional development, in Cognitive Behavior and Solution-focused Therapy, certified provider of Vocational Guidance and Professional Orientation, multilingual psychometric assessments, and coaching tools for teams and individuals in organisational, career and personality issues. Focused on the above methods, he is using an eclectic model according each case. As a lecturer and seminar facilitator he participated in open communicative lines and in scientific research groups with experience in design, implementation of training projects in Public and Private Sector.
